Santa Who? (23 months)

Usually I am quite the happy, smiley girl. I also love to get my picture taken. So, when Momma and Papa said they were taking me to see "Santa" so I could get my picture taken I was pretty excited. I had no idea who this Santa guy was, but he must be pretty important if I am going to see him. We waited in line for a really long time. Almost an hour, which feels like 3 days to an almost-two-year-old.
When we finally got to this Santa guy, I politely smiled and said hi. Then, the strangest thing happened. Momma picked me up and tried to put me on this strange looking man's lap. What ever happened to stranger danger, Momma? Clearly she must have forgotten the rule, so I quickly reminded her...

I refused to get on his lap, and made a run for it!

Momma still trying to get me to see Santa. This Santa guy just said, "Oh great." He knows I'm on to him.

Hopefully Momma will remember the stranger rule next time. I'm way smarter than she thinks.

On our walk home, we stopped by this gigantic Christmas tree surrounded by presents. Now THIS is where I would like to have my picture taken, please. With my Momma and Papa... not some strange Santa fella.
Phewww.

Much better!

So, I'm not opposed to this Santa guy, especially as he still left me  gifts on Christmas morning. Maybe I'll give it a shot again next year- after we've been properly introduced, of course!

LET IT SNOW! Christmastime at Disneyland (23 months old)

Momma took me to Disneyland just before Christmas to see the "snow" and fireworks- both for the first time. Wow! I have never been so amazed in all my life- all 23 months of it! When the fireworks started, I just couldn't stop laughing in amazement. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. Then, Tinkerbell flew past the castle that was all lit up...magical! I couldn't believe my eyes. At the end of the spectacular show, it started to snow! I've never seen snow before. Momma later told me that it was actually bubbles, and not real snow, but it sure did seem real. Plus, I really love bubbles anyway, so it just made it all that much cooler!
Momma and I had dinner in front of the castle just before the fireworks show.

Mmmmm mmmm mmmm. Everything tastes better from a Mickey plate!

"Yay!"

covered in snow!

Lots and lots of love!

THANKSGIVING! (22 months old)

Continuing to catch you all up...

We took a trip to Tulsa to visit Nanny Sharon and Pops Mike in November for Thanksgiving! It was so much fun and I did a great job on the airplane! I ended up getting pretty sick while I was there, but that didn't stop me from participating in the festivities! I got to make cookies, for the very first time, with Nanny Sharon. Mmmm mmmm mmmm, they sure were yummy! I don't think Momma or Nanny Sharon noticed, but I ate quite a bit of cookie dough in the process.

Here are some some pictures from our trip...

Making cookies. "Roll, roll, roll."

"Roll, roll, roll."
"Mmmmm. Yummy!"

This is the best part of making cookies!
These are my special creations!

The finished product.

"I'm ready. Let's eat!"

I love Lola!
